Since 2016, the survey has been conducted by the Land Use Survey Office (LUSO)1 in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University in conjunction with the Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA). In 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024, the survey was available online for Kansas custom operators across the state to complete.
